Q: What did you think Mathnasium would be like before you came here?

A: I was not excited because I didn't want to be tutored for math. I thought it would be boring and absolutely no fun to go to.

Q: What is your favorite thing that’s happened to you at Mathnasium?

A: I really like that the instructors and Center Director, Sierra, can always help me with my work and make it make sense.

Q: Do you like math more now that you’ve been coming to Mathnasium?

A: I mean, I like the idea of math at Mathnasium but I'm still not the biggest fan of it at school. I get it really well while at Mathnasium because it's explained well.

Q: Do you feel like math is easier at school since you’ve been coming to Mathnasium?

A: I got into advanced math. If I'm confused at school, I can always come to Mathnasium and they make it easier for me

Q: What kind of math are you working on right now?

A: I'm working on graphing and coordinates and pre-algebra

Q: Do you think other kids at your school would be better at math if they came to Mathnasium too?

A: Absolutely!

Q: What happened to your test scores and grades (in math class) after you started coming to Mathnasium?

A: My grades have always been well but now I feel confident going into every test and am not worried about getting a bad score.

Q: Do your parents think Mathnasium is helping you learn math?

A: My parents feel confident in my math knowledge, so yes, I'd say so.

Q: Do you think your parents would understand the math you’re learning at Mathnasium?

A: I'll show my dad and he'll do it but he does WAY more complicated and I totally don't get how he does it. Mathnasium makes it so simple.

Q: Have you ever brought math homework from school to Mathnasium? What was it like to get homework help?

A: Yes, I have! The instructors go through and make sure I understand the topics and can do the homework on my own."
