Q: How has Mathnasium motivated your child?
Parent Answer: My girl loves the instructors and is really motivated by the 3D prints that Joseph makes for students with the most pages complete. She has a hard time saving, and is constantly walking out of the center with some sort of prize or candy in hand. This month, she is excited about the prize drop instead of the wheel.
Q: What do you find rewarding about your child’s experience at Mathnasium?
Parent Answer: I was surprised to see how the boost in math confidence has seeped into other areas in our house and at school. She just seems more willing to take risks, speak up, and is more sure of herself!
Q: If you were a student at Mathnasium, what reward would you want to earn?
Instructor Answer: I have my eye on the Nintendo Switch. So many students were talking about it, I got curious and looked it up. It's a pretty cool console. I am a saver so even though it would take me a while to earn it, I bet I could do it.
Q: What are you working toward right now?
Student Answer: I'm working towards passing math this semester. I've been bringing in my homework and unfinished classwork. I don't have it all turned in yet, but once I do, I will be passing! The zeroes are killing my grade. I am so thankful the instructors know how to do my homework because my parents don't.
