Q: What was your favorite math-success memory of 2023?
A: Our Pi Party in March was so much fun and was a huge success! During the hour long session, all of the activities were focused on the often-confusing and abstract concept of Pi. The students loved it, and some of our younger students were introduced to Pi for the very first time. At the end of the session, each student even went home with their very own mini pie!
Q: Tell us about a student who really worked hard in 2023
A: Bradley was determined to transition from homeschooling to public school now that he's in high school. He felt pretty nervous about it honestly. He is responding well in class and finishes his classwork at school, so we don't even have to contend with homework. He just earned a pair of AirPods and had his 150th visit.
Q: What have you noticed about your student’s math ability this year?
A: The biggest change I noticed at first was confidence. It took a while for grades to improve, but they have steadily improved. We helped to get missing assignments completed. I love how Mathnasium works on missing foundational gaps AND classwork too!
