We help Texas students master tested TEKS standards, develop problem-solving skills, and build the confidence needed to perform their best on test day.
We help elementary students master grade-level TEKS including number operations, fractions, decimals, and basic geometry through personalized instruction that builds foundational skills, test familiarity, and confidence for test day.
Our tutors guide middle schoolers through essential TEKS standards—ratios, proportions, expressions, equations, and data analysis—strengthening critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed for high school readiness and STAAR success.
Students receive targeted preparation for the Algebra I end-of-course exam, a graduation requirement, through comprehensive review of tested TEKS, practice with EOC-style questions, and strategies that build confidence and performance.
At Mathnasium of Greatwood, our tutors are trained to help students succeed on all STAAR math assessments, from Grade 3 through the Algebra I End-of-Course (EOC) exam. We support students in mastering core concepts, filling skill gaps, and building the confidence they need to perform under pressure.
Whether your student is preparing for their first STAAR test in elementary school or trying to pass Algebra I to meet graduation requirements, our expert instructors deliver the guidance they need.
We use proprietary test prep materials developed by math experts and apply our proven teaching approach, the Mathnasium Method™, focused on building solid foundations for math mastery. Combining personalized learning plans with effective instructional strategies, we help students make sense of math and feel confident on test day.
Each student begins with a diagnostic assessment that helps us identify which TEKS-aligned skills to focus on for their specific STAAR test. From there, we build a targeted learning plan that covers both math content and test-taking techniques, such as managing time and test anxiety, interpreting word problems, and applying problem-solving strategies effectively.
Our STAAR prep is never one-size-fits-all. After identifying each student’s current skills and goals, we design a targeted learning plan that supports their grade-level expectations and addresses the math topics most likely to appear on their upcoming exam.
Whether your student needs help catching up, wants to boost their score, or simply feels anxious about testing, we meet them where they are and guide them to their goal, step by step.
