A: Mathnasium is an investment that takes time for students to fill in their gaps and build their confidence! Simply helping with tonight's homework won't instill long-term results, unless time is spent to master any concept not mastered in previous years. Mathnasium emphasizes the first half of every session on working through student's specific gaps, and the last half of every session to assist with any math homework questions. We do this so we can address critical gaps while also providing help with tonight's homework.

A: Most students become surprised once they start loving math when before they didn't like it. They are also surprised and happy when their grades at school improve, the more they attend sessions. That light bulb moment is the best part to experience and witness!

A: Parents are surprised to see their students confidence blossom and their attitude towards math improve! Some parents have mentioned that they never would have expected their students to enjoy math, but now they do!

A: Mathnasium has a variety of ways to explain concepts to find the way that makes most sense to each student! We use visual, verbal, tactile, written and mental types of teaching. Students get help with their math homework the last half of each session. This means we can work together to understand tricky problems so that students can finish their homework on their own at home (if they don't finish it during their session time), and be better equipped to complete future assignments/tests/quizzes. Students also get really excited to save up their rewards to buy prizes like squishmallows, gift cards, fidget games, etc. The more pages students complete in their binders means the more gaps they fill in and also the more they can save up!
