A1: Our Mathnasium center helps students build confidence in math by giving them the tools to succeed in math, whether it be number sense strategies, manipulatives, or real life examples! We reward students for trying and celebrate their victories!

A2: I notice students begin to understand math concepts instead of memorizing when they can teach back the concepts to me, explain their thinking, and extend their knowledge to problem solve.

A3: Instructors support students when they feel stuck or discouraged by taking a step back and getting to the root cause of their discomfort-whether it's the math or a student's physical or mental state, we want to know so we can better diagnose the problem!
