Q: Why did you choose to own a Mathnasium center? A: Years ago, when I was teaching JAVA programming to the students at UTSA, Often times I came across students struggling with Math concepts involved in creating certain program rather than the programming concept itself. That made me very curious to find out why college students struggled so much with basic math concepts. That curiosity lead me to Mathnasium and now I am a proud owner of Mathnasium.
Q: What do you like about the city your Mathnasium center is located in? A: People, Culture, Beauty, Historical importance of San Antonio and most importantly our Military community.
Q: Can you think of any way that your center has positively impacted the community that it’s located in? A: Definitely, Since we have opened this center we have transformed lives of so many students by helping them gain confidence and transforming their lives by fixing their foundational skills in Math. Often times, I would have students convey thanks to me because now they have finally started to understand Math!
Q: Did you like math when you were in grade school? A: Yes
Q: What do you think you would have liked most about Mathnasium if you had attended when you were in grade school? A: Fractions!!!! Mathnasium has the easiest way to explain and make students understand fractions. It just blew my mind the first time I came across it!
Q: One last question, what’s something fun you enjoy doing in Villages of Westcreek? A: The Alamo, Downtown River Walk Restaurants, Tower of Americas, and beautiful parks with hikes.
