Chris
Center Director
Chris joined the Mathnasium team in late 2021. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Louisiana State University. He has teaching experience in a variety of educational settings and subjects, including individual lessons, small group instruction, and classroom teaching in both public and private schools. Over the last few years, he rediscovered his love for math while covering middle school math classes for colleagues who were on leave. He has remained active as a musician, and appreciates the unique relationship that music and math share. Whatever the subject, Chris is passionate about helping students reach their goals through diverse, inclusive, and engaging lessons which are tailored to the individual.
Zackery
Lead Instructor
Zackery acquired his B.S. in Mathematics in 2022 from the University of Houston. He has been employed by Mathnasium since the summer of 2023, and appreciates the opportunity to play a role in changing the way students think about math. In his free time, he enjoys camping, watching sports, and spending time with his fiancée.
Andrea
District Manager
Andrea has a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with a focus in leadership from the University of Houston Clear Lake. After overcoming her fear of math and difficulties in Geometry, Andrea now loves math and finds it interesting. She has completed College Algebra, Pre-Cal, Finite Math, Statistics and Business Calculus. Andrea has been in the tutoring business for over 10 years, in tutoring and management roles. Her love for children and helping them overcome their fear of math is what she looks forward to every day. Andrea loves that “light-bulb” moment when children learn something new or finally grasp something that has been difficult for them. She enjoys changing lives through math!
Jodi
Director of Education
Jodi has a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Math from Hope College and graduated with her secondary teaching certificate. She also has a Master’s degree in Math Education and a Specialist’s degree in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership from Piedmont College. Jodi has been teaching for 20 years and has taught all levels from 8th grade math to IB math studies. Jodi is also a certified gifted instructor. Jodi loves to teach and tutor because she loves to see the sense of great achievement when a student grasps a difficult math concept! She also believes that every student can succeed and excel with the proper tools and support.

If a student is struggling or simply looking to keep up in their math class, Mathnasium will build upon what they already know, addressing their learning gaps and teaching math in a way that makes sense to them.
Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout.
