Amy graduated from Arizona State University in 2020 and has been working in the education field ever since. She has a strong passion for teaching math in a way that builds true understanding and long-term retention. Amy began her Mathnasium journey as an Assistant Center Director, where she gained extensive experience supporting students on the instructional floor.
When she’s not helping students grow their confidence, Amy enjoys crocheting, playing video games, and spending time with her dog, Koda. She’s excited to continue making a positive impact on students’ math journeys!

Instructor
Saif loves serving the North Scottsdale community with his passion for teaching. He wants student's to never be afraid to be wrong and understand that there are many ways to approach a math problem! A master in math through AP Calculus and AP stats, Saif enjoys explaining math in ways that work best for the individual students.
Outside of Mathnasium, Saif enjoys spending time with his family. One of his favorite memories is when he traveled to Italy to visit his grandparents. He's a big fan of the movie Interstellar, and his favorite snack is Oreos!
Jonathan S
Instructor
Jonathan is a passionate math instructor with previous experience instructing at Mathnasium of Scottsdale. He is a master in mathematics up through linear algebra and differential equations. He wants students who are struggling with math to know that it is okay to start with what they know and build from there. His favorite thing about math is that it is a universal language.
Outside of Mathnasium, Jonathan loves to play music to express himself. His favorite movie is UHF and he loves Tim Tams! One of his favorite memories is when he enjoyed ice cream on a beach during his travels to Tel Aviv. He also enjoys bowling with friends!

Ava loves working with students and exploring the math skills of learners! She is a master of mathematics up through Calculus 3 and Statistics! She wants students who struggle with math to know that slowing down and breaking things into smaller parts makes it much easier than you think! She loves how math has multiple ways to get the same answer.
Outside of Mathnasium, Ava enjoys staying active through running. She is a big fan of chocolate chip cookies and her favorite movie is Mamma Mia. She once went parasailing and snorkeling in Hawaii. One of her favorite memories is spending 2 months in Europe with her best friend!
