Hello, my name is Tara and I am the Centre Director for Mathnasium in Edinburgh.
I'm looking forward to making positive changes to the lives of children in the local area as they embark on their education journey.
I have worked in numerous countries that have had children at the heart of all my roles. I spent a number of years living in America helping to change the lives of many through the power of sport after spending 4 years at university studying Sport & Recreation Management.
Away from work you'll find me shouting for my favourite football team, watching Scotland trying to finally win a 6 nations as well as sampling the best coffee Edinburgh has to offer!
Hey, I'm Danny!
I've got a passion for maths and problem solving and I'm enthusiastic to share with everyone that steps through into our Mathnasium centre.
I am currently working as a pupil support assistant which means I value providing guidance to meet individual needs whilst also showing how fun learning can truly be!
Outside of work I've got a love for baking, games design and two cats
Hi I'm Angel, a dedicated maths instructor with a passion for making learning engaging and accessible.

Hello my name is Alexa and I am in my 2nd year of university studying Cognitive Science.
I have been passionate about maths throughout school and have won multiple UKMT Maths Awards. For the past two years, I have enjoyed being a maths instructor helping children build their confidence in the subject.
When I am not teaching maths, I enjoy reading books, Sudokus, camping and learning languages.
Hi, I’m Ashleigh and I’m a maths graduate with a real passion for helping students feel more confident and capable in maths. I know from experience how overwhelming the subject can sometimes feel, so I always aim to make learning supportive, calm, and even enjoyable.
For me, teaching isn’t just about the numbers, it’s about encouraging students to believe in themselves and feel proud of what they can achieve. I love being part of those “lightbulb” moments where it all starts to click.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy travelling, outdoor sports, and art!
Teach children maths so that they understand it, master it and love it. Maths can change their lives, and they can change the world.
Are you interested in changing lives through maths? We're looking for outstanding individuals with a high level of commitment who are passionate about teaching maths. Find out if there's a Mathnasium position that's just right for you!
