My 8 year old daughter absolutely loves this place. She is proud of having her own folder of tasks and appreciate the support she gets from the tutors. She also loves that she can make friends whilst also improving her Maths skills. Since she joined a couple of months ago, she happily attended at least 3 times a week, even after an extended day. Her tutors are warm and pleasant, patient and caring. She loves the spinning wheel which motivates her to stay focused and complete more tasks. As a parent, I found the centre very supportive and accommodating, with a family feel to it. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. The children are all engaged and excited about their learning. The regular in depth feedback is extremely helpful too. I love that there is always something special planned, like engaging workshops or themed parties too. All in all, Mathnasium is a fantastic centre where children learn to thrive in Maths.

Both my boys attend and not only do they absolutely love going (they even ask to go on weekends!) we have also had fantastic results and reports from school who can really see a difference in their maths abilities since joining a few months ago. The team at Mathnasium lead by Alex and Sharon are wonderful. They are kind, patient and supportive and they make maths fun. The fact that they can come as many times as needed weekly is an added bonus you don’t get with a private tutor. Plus as parents you are sent monthly process reports. Absolutely amazing! Mathnasium Buckhurst Hill is a fantastic place with really engaged staff who are clearly very dedicated and It has been a game-changer for my daughter’s understanding of mathematics. Peter and team have a knack for breaking down complex concepts into manageable chunks and have really boosted my daughter’s confidence as she heads to secondary school. Her progress has come along leaps and bounds since she started and I’d 100% recommend Mathnasium.

I can not recommend mathnasium enough. All the instructors are very dedicated and the care, enthusiasm and energy that they put in to the students to help build the students confidence and create a positive connection to maths really is impressive. They truly do care. As a parent I have felt supported and encouraged myself and popped in many times for chats where I was updated with progress on my son and to see what he had achieved in a very short time really was impressive. My daughter has had the most positive experience with Mathnasium in Crouch End. She said she enjoyed the "focused, structured environment" and her tutors have been "very supportive and friendly". I second this, as her tutor regularly called me with updates and just to check in. My daughter's confidence in her ability improved significantly to the extent that she decided to opt for Further Maths as a GCSE option, and her school teacher fully supported this decision. My daughter enjoyed attending in-person sessions, describing them as "relaxed" and "low-pressure," where mistakes are part of the learning process and lessons are tailored to her individual needs. She also said she scored second in math in her school end of end-of-year assessment, answering some questions that the top performing student could not. :) I could also add that the administration was also very considerate of her busy schedule with regular school trips and sports engagements, allowing flexibility and making up for lost sessions.
