  Our instructional hours are: 

  • Monday to Friday: 3:30pm – 7:30pm

  We work with children from Reception through to GCSE, ages 4 to 16, across all Key Stages from the Early Years Foundation Stage through to KS4.

• How do you teach maths? Which curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of Dulwich, we don't follow a traditional curriculum. We use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach designed to help children build maths mastery, whatever level they're starting from. 

  The Mathnasium Method™ combines personalised learning plans with a range of teaching techniques, including mental, verbal, visual, tactile and written, to adapt instruction to how each child learns best. We begin with what the student already knows, and by closing their knowledge gaps in a logical sequence, we help them build solid foundations for maths mastery. Along the way, many students transform both how they think and feel about the subject. 

  Sessions can complement what children are covering in school under the National Curriculum, while steadily closing any knowledge gaps that have built up along the way.

  As each school sets its own exam content and timeline, we build every child's plan around their specific target school, leaving enough time to close any gaps before exam day. 

• Do you offer GCSE maths tutoring?

  Yes, our instructors support Year 10 and Year 11 children through their GCSE maths preparation, with a personalised plan built around their current performance, target grade and the topics where they most need to improve. 

  We cover the full GCSE maths curriculum, including number, algebra, geometry, ratio, probability and statistics, across both Foundation and Higher tiers.

  Tuition at Mathnasium of Dulwich is priced as a flat monthly membership fee rather than a per-session rate, much like a gym membership. Most children get the best results attending two to three sessions a week.
