We typically start with an assessment at the beginning of their programme and follow up periodically to keep track of how they’re doing, assess retention of skills and move on to new topics. We work with your child to determine the right frequency for their assessments based on their individual needs and goals.
Having begun by focusing on a student’s individual learning gaps, we ensure all students have opportunities for rigorous problem-solving and mixed practice. Our proprietary materials encourage students to make links between topics and apply their understanding in unfamiliar contexts. Finally, we make use of baseline papers and as we move closer to the exams tackle exam-style questions with in-session feedback to maximise progress and build confidence ahead of their test date.
