• What are your opening hours?

  Our instructional hours are: 

  • Monday to Thursday: 3:30pm – 7:00pm 

  • Friday: 3:30pm – 6:00pm 

  • Saturday: 10:00am – 2:00pm 

  • Sunday: 10:00am – 2:00pm

  We work with students from Reception through to GCSE, ages 4 to 16, across every Key Stage from the Early Years Foundation Stage through to KS4. 

  Fulham families come to us at every stage, from early number confidence through to entrance exam preparation and GCSE. 

• What maths topics can your tutors in Fulham help with?

• How do you teach maths? Which curriculum do you use?

  We don't follow a traditional curriculum. Instructors use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that combines personalised learning plans with proven teaching techniques to promote maths mastery. 

  Sessions combine mental, verbal, visual, tactile and written techniques guided by each child's personalised learning plan, while staying mindful of what students are covering at school under the National Curriculum.

• Do you work with children who are ahead or only children struggling with maths?

  Mathnasium of Fulham works with students of every skill level, whether they're catching up, keeping up or ready to get ahead in maths class. 

  High-achieving students can extend well beyond the school curriculum, with enrichment work and focused preparation for the 7+, 11+ and Common Entrance. 

  For children who are finding maths difficult, the personalised learning plan meets them exactly where they are and builds forward at their own pace. Our caring instructors work with them face-to-face, marking every win along the way and helping their confidence grow.

• Do you prepare children for the 7+ and 11+?

  Of course, Mathnasium of Fulham supports children preparing for the 7+ and 11+ entrance exams used by local independent schools. 

  We recommend starting preparation at least a year ahead of the relevant exam, to leave time to build numerical reasoning skills and work through the full range of question types children will meet on the day. 

• Do you prepare children for Common Entrance?

  Certainly! Common Entrance is used by many independent senior schools and the maths paper draws on a broad range of topics from the primary and early secondary curriculum. 

  Mathnasium of Fulham supports children preparing for Common Entrance with a personalised learning plan built around the specific demands of their target schools and where their current knowledge gaps sit. 

• Do you offer GCSE maths tutoring?

  Absolutely. Our instructors support Year 10 and Year 11 students through GCSE maths, with sessions built around their target grade, current performance and the topics they need support with.  

  We cover the complete GCSE maths curriculum across both Foundation and Higher tiers. 

• How much does maths tutoring cost at Mathnasium of Fulham?

  Mathnasium of Fulham operates on a flat monthly membership fee, with most students attending two to three sessions a week depending on their personalised learning plan. 

  Following the free diagnostic assessment, we will recommend a session plan tailored to your child's learning needs and goals.
