  Mathnasium of Crouch End is at 29 Broadway Parade, Crouch End, London N8 9DB, on Tottenham Lane a few doors from the Queens pub and not far from the Crouch End Picture House.  

  Parking is straightforward in resident bays at most times we are open, and the centre is easy to reach from across N8 and N6.

  Instead of a one-size-fits-all curriculum, we use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach. This approach combines personalised learning plans with proven teaching techniques to promote deep understanding over memorisation. It is developed to help students build solid foundations for maths mastery, transforming how they think and feel about the subject.

• Do you work with advanced children or only those struggling with maths?

  We work with children of all skill levels. Mathnasium of Crouch End has been part of the community since 2018, and over that time we have worked with children whose goals range from building basic number confidence to competing in national maths competitions.

  Yes! Mathnasium of Crouch End supports students preparing for 11+ entrance assessments. 

  We recommend starting 11+ preparation in Year 4 or early Year 5, allowing enough time to work through all relevant topics systematically and practise the kind of multi-step reasoning these papers require. The sooner preparation begins, the more time there is to build real confidence rather than surface familiarity.

• Do you prepare children for the Maths Olympiad?

  Yes. Mathnasium of Crouch End supports students entering UKMT Junior, Intermediate and Senior Mathematical Challenges and Olympiad rounds.

• Do you prepare children for GCSE maths?

  Yes, our instructors work with Year 10 and Year 11 students on personalised GCSE preparation plans built around their current grade, target and the topics where the most work is needed. We cover the complete GCSE maths curriculum across both Foundation and Higher tiers: number, algebra, geometry, ratio, probability and statistics.
