Celebrating Our Nat 5 Maths Students 2026 : Every Family We Contacted Reported a Pass

There are few things more rewarding for us at Mathnasium of Glasgow South than seeing a student grow in confidence, begin to understand maths and ultimately achieve the result they have been working towards.

That is why we are incredibly proud to share some fantastic news from this year's National 5 Maths results.

Every parent we were able to contact following the results confirmed that their child had passed National 5 Maths.

For our students, their families and our team of instructors, this was a brilliant moment — but for us, the result represents far more than simply passing an exam.

It represents months of perseverance, growing confidence, closing gaps in understanding and, in many cases, completely changing a young person's relationship with maths.

At Mathnasium, our aim is to help students understand why maths works.

They may have missed one important concept several years earlier. As the school curriculum has moved forward, new topics have been built on top of that gap, making maths progressively more difficult.

By identifying those areas and rebuilding understanding step by step, something starts to change.

Students begin answering questions independently.

And maths begins to make sense.

For us, that increase in confidence is every bit as important as the final exam result.
