Meet the Team
We both studied maths at university and have since built successful careers in the financial services sector. Away from work, we're a young family, proud parents of our little madam, Shaan! We love getting out in nature together, keeping active and making the most of everything family life has to offer. Being present as a family is really important to us and that sense of community and togetherness is something we wanted to carry into our business too.

Our Why
Maths is a subject we feel incredibly passionate about and not in the "pass the exam and move on" sense. We genuinely believe that truly understanding maths goes far beyond the curriculum. It builds problem-solving skills, strategic thinking and a way of approaching life's challenges that stays with a child forever.
We want to give that gift to as many children as we can. Mathnasium gives us the platform to do exactly that, at scale, in our own community. This isn't a business venture for us; it's a purpose.
Why Lichfield & Tamworth?
As a young family, we absolutely love the city of Lichfield. It's been the backdrop to so many of our favourite family days out and celebrations over the years. There's something really special about Lichfield, the community feel, the family-friendly atmosphere and of course the breath taking architecture and natural beauty that makes it such a remarkable place to spend time.
It genuinely is one of our happy places. Tamworth shares that same warm, community spirit and together these two areas feel like the perfect home for what we're building. We're not outsiders coming in, we're part of this community and we're deeply invested in its families and its children.
What excites you most about opening the centre?
The results. Full stop. We cannot wait to witness the progress our students make, it's our driving force. Maths is a subject that so many children struggle with, often carrying that anxiety through school and beyond. We are here to change that story. To breed confidence, to help children thrive, and to watch them surprise themselves with what they're capable of. That's everything.
What Makes Mathnasium Different
Traditional tutoring often takes a one-size-fits-all approach. Mathnasium doesn't. At the heart of what we do is the recognition that every single child is completely unique, in how they learn, how they think and what they need to progress. That's why we create individually tailored learning plans for each student and why we teach in multiple ways to find what truly resonates with each child.
We don't just teach children maths, we meet them exactly where they are, speak their language and build from there. Confidence and empowerment aren't by-products of our approach; they're the whole point.
Who We Help
Every child. Whether your child is struggling and feeling left behind, steadily working through the curriculum, or already excelling and hungry for a greater challenge, we have something to offer them. We genuinely meet each child exactly where they are, whether that means going back to fill gaps in foundational knowledge or stretching ahead with enrichment that keeps them engaged.
We also offer dedicated exam preparation programmes for the 11+ and GCSE maths, giving students in Lichfield and Tamworth the best possible start for the exams that matter most.

Easter Extravaganza - Our Launch event!
We're flinging open our doors across all three days of Easter with a celebration the whole family can enjoy. Think Easter activities, treats, prizes and a chance to meet the team, see the centre for yourself and discover what Mathnasium is all about.
We'll be signing children up for free maths assessments over the Easter weekend, the perfect opportunity to find out exactly where your child is and how we can help them flourish.
