Matthew has come from hospitality background that started his passion for working alongside people from ALL walks of life. From an early age Matthew was taught the importance of education and found a love for Maths especially. This love reignited when his own son started showing his love for maths too, which spurred him on to work in an environment that is helping all of our children and creating a bright and positive future for them. Away from work Matthew enjoys art, in all its forms, and regularly visit exhibitions and also natural history, especially regarding oceans and marine life.
Tom has a Mathematics degree from the University of Surrey. He enjoys thinking about Maths problems and explaining Maths to others in new and creative ways. In his spare time, Tom enjoys going on walks and speed-solving Rubix Cubes of various shapes and sizes!
Josh has been with Mathnasium since 2016, having previously worked as a Centre Director in the USA, and has over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages. Josh is passionate about making a difference in his students' lives. Josh loves nothing more than to see his students grow in confidence and develop a love for maths! In his spare time, Josh enjoys creative pursuits, spending time outdoors, and spending time with his family and pets!
Abby is currently working her way through Level 3 of her AAT Accounting qualification. Abby enjoys tutoring Maths and watching students confidently progress! In her spare time Abby enjoys watching women’s football, going to concerts and spending time with friends
Karthik is currently studying mathematics at Brunel University. At A-levels, he studied Mathematics, physics, chemistry and further mathematics. He loves helping people out and putting a smile on people’s faces. Outside of work, Karthik enjoys playing chess and making music with his friends in their little garage band.
Hi I’m Georgia! I study French, Spanish and Linguistics at Warwick Uni but i have a keen interest in maths which i enjoy sharing with the kids at Mathnasium. In my spare time i like to play cricket and lacrosse and i love a pub quiz! .
Dylan is currently studying English Literature, Economics and Geography at A level. Despite not doing maths, tutoring Mathnasium has allowed him to keep his passion for it alive whilst also allowing him to shape young minds and help grow their confidence around problem solving which is crucial for the future. Outside of tutoring, he really enjoys sports such as powerlifting as the community is so supportive whilst equally as encouraging do always do better.
Miranda is currently studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Art at A-Level, and is passionate about all of them! She loves to help build students’ confidence in maths so that they grow to love it as much as she does. She also loves sci-fi, comics, fashion, and archery.
Grace is currently studying Maths, Psychology, and Geography A-Level at Amersham School. She loves working with the students and being a part of improving their mathematical abilities. In my spare time I enjoy going to the cinema and spending time with my friends.
Manav studies Maths, Further Maths, Economics, and Physics at A-Level and hopes to study Economics at university! He has a strong passion for Maths, achieving a grade 9 in both Maths and Further Maths at GCSE. In his free time, he loves watching cricket and creating art, as well as tutoring students in Maths to share his love for the subject.
Sam Royce: Sam is currently studying Further Maths, Maths, Geography, and Economics, having achieved 9s in both Maths and Further Maths at GCSE. He loves problem-solving and enjoys explaining mathematical concepts to others in a clear and engaging way. Outside of academics, he enjoys playing football and watching Arsenal every weekend
Isaac is currently studying Maths, Economics, History having achieved 9’s in Further Maths and Maths GCSE. He enjoys unraveling long difficult maths problems and being able to break them down into simple steps. Isaac also enjoys playing Cricket and Basketball and playing the Guitar and Drums. He hopes to study History at University
Adam Coleman is studying Maths, Information Technology and Sociology for his A levels. Outside of his studies he enjoys playing the drums, which he has done for 9 years, and also enjoys going to the gym. He hopes to get an apprenticeship as a light vehicle service technician.
Anahita studies Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Psychology for her A-Levels. Outside of school, she enjoys dance and likes to perform which she has been doing for 10 years. She hopes to study Maths or Engineering at University
Toby is studying Maths, Further maths, Physics and Chemistry for A level at Dr Challoner’s Grammar School, in my free time I like to play guitar and experiment with cooking. At university I am hoping to study Engineering
Sarah is currently studying mathematics and finance at the University of Glasgow. At A-levels she studies mathematics, physics and chemistry. She loves teaching students and watching their confidence grow. In her free time, she enjoys going out with her friends and baking.
Jasmine is currently studying psychology at Durham University and hopes to go into a career in law when she graduates. She loves helping other people learn new things, which is why she enjoys teaching at Mathnasium so much. Outside of uni, she enjoys reading, going to the gym, and especially baking sweet treats!
Imogen studies Biology, Physics, and Business for her A-Levels. Outside of school she enjoys being involved in Air Cadets as she has learnt how to fly planes and is a sergeant. She hopes to study business management at university post a-levels.
Yash is currently studying Maths, Biology and Chemistry for his A-levels at Dr Challoners and in his spare time enjoys hanging out with Dylan and eating Mexican food
Ollie studies Maths, Biology and Geography A-Level. Outside of school he enjoys going to the gym and climbing, and the moment he is learning how to drive. After A-Levels he would like to go study biology at university.
Aaryan Studies Maths, Further Maths, Economics, and History. Outside of school, he likes to read books and play video games.
