Josh Hammond

Centre Advisor
Josh has been with Mathnasium since 2016, having previously worked as a Centre Director in the USA, and has over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages. Josh is passionate about making a difference in his students' lives. Josh loves nothing more than to see his students grow in confidence and develop a love for maths! In his spare time, Josh enjoys creative pursuits, spending time outdoors, and spending time with his family and pets!

Fabio Zamuner

Advisor
Fabio has enjoyed working with people in various roles over the last 10 years. He is experienced in assisting disabled and special needs adults and got involved in volunteering in clown therapy which he strongly recommends for all! He has also worked as an outdoor instructor focusing on fostering teamwork and building self-confidence. Fabio excels in working with children. His outgoing personality and enthusiasm provides the children under his care with fun and confidence! He is excited to be working at Mathnasium where he can continue his earlier experience as a Maths tutor and pass on his love for Maths. Outside of work Fabio loves the outdoors in general and is passionate about climbing and skiing.

Tom Stokes

Assistant Education Manager
Tom has a Mathematics degree from the University of Surrey. He enjoys thinking about Maths problems and explaining Maths to others in new and creative ways. In his spare time, Tom enjoys going on walks and speed-solving Rubix Cubes of various shapes and sizes!

Yolanda Harris

Lead Instructor
Yolanda Harris completed her Bachelor of Arts and Masters in Computer Science at Cambridge University and worked in investment banking, specialising in project management, people development, performance management, and training for more than 20 years. She loves Maths and studied it during her first year in university. She also likes cricket and previously managed the U13 and U15 women’s county cricket squads. Now she focuses on umpiring and scoring, so don’t be surprised if you see her at a cricket match! When not in the cricket season, Yolanda loves to travel, and recently hiked the Inca Trail and canoed the Zambezi.

Madhu Krishnakumar

Senior Instructor
Madhu is is currently studying biochemistry at KCL. At A-levels she studied Maths, biology and chemistry. She loves working with students to help them understand and further their knowledge in Maths. In her free time, she enjoys running and reading. Recently she has also learnt to sew!

Jenna Bates

Senior Instructor
Jenna is currently studying for a Maths and Stats BSc at the University of Leeds, after achieving 3 A*s and an A at A levels. She enjoys more financial mathematics as it feels more practical for everyday life. In her free time she enjoys making cosplays, playing video games, and exploring new recipes for cooking.

Billy Craddock

Senior Instructor
Billy is currently studying Maths and Stats at university and got an A* in both Maths and Further Maths at A Level. He enjoys helping the students understand tricky problems and try to put a smile on their faces! In his free time, he enjoys playing lots of different sports and spending time with his friends!

Abby Lemon

Senior Instructor
Abby has a passion for Maths and teaching having achieved a 9 in GCSE Maths and an 8 in GCSE Further Maths. She has just finished her Level 3 AAT Accounting Qualification and is currently completing work experience in an Accounts department. Abby also works at Barnardo's Children's Charity as she likes giving back to her community.

Louis Webber

Senior Instructor
Louis is studying Maths at Bath University, after completing his A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. Louis has previous experience working with children, through his tennis coaching. In his spare time, he also plays tennis, alongside developing his artistic abilities and teaching himself the keyboard.

Jessica Cheng

Centre Support

Jessica completed her bachelor and master degree in engineering in Hong Kong.  She is passionate about STEM education and participated in  university research programs to guide secondary school and university students in air pollution measurement. In addition to her enthusiasm for science and maths, Jessica enjoys art and cooking, which she creatively combines both to deliver geometric art and cooking science workshops to children. Through these activities, she aims at inspiring children to appreciate the beauty of maths and explore the fun side of science through cooking

Tom Craddock

Instructor
Tom studies Maths, Chemistry and Biology at A level, after getting a grade 9 in Maths GCSE. Tom really likes football and is an avid fan of Arsenal! Tom really looks forward to sharing his passion for Maths (and football!) with the students at Mathnasium.

Max Michau

Instructor
Max is currently studying Physics, Computer Science, and Maths at DCGS. He really enjoys Computer Science and Maths because they are all about numbers! At University, he will study Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence, and work abroad for a year. In his free time, Max likes to swim, cycle, and even bake sometimes!

Karthik Govindarajan

Instructor
Karthik is currently studying mathematics at Brunel University. At A-levels, he studied Mathematics, physics, chemistry and further mathematics. He loves helping people out and putting a smile on people’s faces. Outside of work, Karthik enjoys playing chess and making music with his friends in their little garage band.

Sarah Yassin

Instructor
Sarah studies Maths, Physics, and Chemistry at A-Level and evidently loves STEM subjects! She enjoys swimming and baking in her free time, as well as tutoring children in Maths due to her passion for the subject. She looks forward to getting to know the students and helping them on their journey at Mathnasium.

Georgia Naylor

Instructor
Georgia is currently studying Chemistry, French, German and English Literature at A-level and wishes she could also have taken maths in which she achieved a 9 at GCSE too. She has a passion for teaching and allowing students to find the same enjoyment in maths as she does! In her free time she enjoys playing piano and netball.

Jasmine Astall

Instructor

Meet our new instructor, Jasmine! She takes Maths, Psychology, and Computer Science at A level and hopes to work in cybersecurity or forensic psychology in the future. She has experience taking care of students thanks to babysitting and mentoring at school. In her free time, she likes to bake (especially cookies) and play tennis!

Gretchen Happel

Instructor

Gretchen takes Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Latin at A-Level and is hoping to do maths at uni. Outside of school, she enjoys figure skating and has previously been a volunteer coach, teaching kids with special needs how to ice skate.

Dylan Rodgers

Instructor

Dylan is currently studying English Literature, Economics and Geography at A level. Despite not doing maths, tutoring Mathnasium has allowed him to keep his passion for it alive whilst also allowing him to shape young minds and help grow their confidence around problem solving which is crucial for the future. Outside of tutoring, he really enjoys sports such as powerlifting as the community is so supportive whilst equally as encouraging do always do better.

Miranda Richardson

Instructor

Miranda is currently studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Art at A-Level, and is passionate about all of them! She loves to help build students’ confidence in maths so that they grow to love it as much as she does. She also loves sci-fi, comics, fashion, and archery.

Grace Long

Instructor

Grace is currently studying Maths, Psychology, and Geography A-Level at Amersham School. She loves working with the students and being a part of improving their mathematical abilities. In my spare time I enjoy going to the cinema and spending time with my friends.

Our Mathnasium Mission
