Hi, I am Colette, the Centre Manager for Mathnasium of Clapham. With over 20 years of experience in retail and operations management, I’m passionate about transforming potential into success - whether it’s a business or a young mind mastering maths. As a proud mother of two grown daughters, I deeply value the role of education in shaping bright futures, which is why I take immense pride and joy in helping children build confidence and proficiency in maths. Outside of work, you’ll find me enjoying life with my two dogs, traveling, soaking up the arts, and keeping fit with a balance of exercise, wellness, and, of course, good food!
Hi, I’m Lily! I’ve just finished my degree in Language and Culture from University College London. I'm fluent in Italian, speak advanced Spanish and also conversational French (as well as a bit of Dutch!). I love looking at the intricacies of language itself and I have a huge passion for education and have tutored throughout my entire academic journey. I'm excited to start to put these elements of my education into practice at Mathnasium, and I can't wait to see students become more and more confident in their mathematical abilities. One day I hope to be a professor, but until then, I will carry on spending my time reading, travelling, and making a fuss of any dog or cat that comes my way!
Hi, I'm Veronica, I am so excited to be a part of the Mathnasium Clapham team. I am here primarily because I love maths as it allows you to think outside of the box, and to fully expand creativity and logical thinking. My background in Mathematics is strong and I took my Masters degree back in 2022 with the maximum marks and honours. My previous experience includes teaching in a secondary school here in the UK, during which I had the opportunity to familiarise myself with the English curriculum having originated from Italy. In my spare time I also dance professionally. Being creative is a big part of who I am and I hope to bring this creativity in my role to encourage students to think outside the box and approach maths problems with an open mind.
Hi, I’m Renata Galesi, the Lead Online Instructor for Mathnasium! I recently graduated in Economics and Management from LSE. Teaching at Mathnasium lets me combine my love for problem-solving with helping students gain confidence in maths.
I enjoy seeing students' "lightbulb" moments and tailoring my teaching to their unique learning styles. My goal is to inspire creative thinking and help them build skills for success.
When not teaching, I’m probably exploring new places, learning about different cultures, or planning my next adventure.
Hey there! I’m Alae, an Economics student at City University of London with a deep love for numbers. For the past 3 years, I’ve been working at Mathnasium, where I get to combine my passion for maths with helping kids build their confidence and problem-solving skills. There’s nothing quite like seeing a child’s "aha!" moment when they finally crack a tough maths problem! Outside of my maths-filled world, I’m a huge Chelsea fan! I am also a travel enthusiast! Whether it’s exploring new cities or tasting exotic foods, I love to immerse myself in different cultures and experiences. There’s always something new to learn, whether it’s through travel or through numbers!
