Rab is an experienced Mathnasium Multi-Centre Owner who has spent the past six years building and growing successful Mathnasium centres across London and Hertfordshire. During this time, he has been fortunate to be recognised as Mathnasium UK Franchisee of the Year on three occasions. He attributes this success to building exceptional teams and implementing consistent systems and processes that enable centres to deliver high-quality educational outcomes alongside a positive, engaging experience for every child and family.
Prior to joining Mathnasium, Rab held a number of senior analytical and finance roles, including Business Performance Manager, European Markets at HSBC and Financial Advisory at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Rab is also a Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA).
Having an analytical background, alongside a genuine passion for mathematics, Rab places significant emphasis on developing mathematical confidence and problem-solving skills. He believes these abilities are becoming increasingly important in a world where technology and job requirements continue to evolve at an unprecedented pace.
Education and preparing young people for the future is something that is particularly close to home. Rab's wife is a Consultant specialising in workforce transformation and the future of work, helping organisations understand the skills that Generation Z and Generation Alpha will need to succeed in tomorrow's careers.
Outside of work, Rab enjoys keeping fit, playing golf, and watching Arsenal (scrape) a win!
Carrie is a Mathematics graduate from Durham University with a lifelong passion for education and helping students discover their potential in maths. Her journey in teaching began at the age of 12 when she started tutoring and created an after-school homework club to support classmates who were struggling with mathematics. With over three years at Mathnasium of Ealing, Carrie combines her strong mathematical background with her ability to connect with students of all ages, creating an environment where learners feel supported, motivated, and confident.
Carrie’s dedication to delivering exceptional maths education has been recognised across Mathnasium UK, having received the Educational Excellence Award for outstanding education and student progress at Mathnasium of Ealing. She has also been recognised as a Centre Champion for her commitment to students, families, and the wider Mathnasium community. Frequently praised by parents and students for her approachable nature and dedication, Carrie is passionate about helping every learner build confidence, develop curiosity, and enjoy mathematics.
Outside of Mathnasium, Carrie enjoys crocheting and playing netball with great enthusiasm.
Jess graduated with a degree in Sociology from the London School of Economics after attending Harrow International School Bangkok, where she developed a strong academic foundation and a passion for learning. She has been part of the Mathnasium team for over four years, beginning her journey as Centre Manager at Mathnasium of Ealing before progressing into her current regional role.
Drawing on her experience supporting families and leading a centre, Jess enjoys understanding each child's strengths, challenges, and goals before guiding parents through the Mathnasium Method and its personalised approach to maths education. She is passionate about helping children build confidence in maths and ensuring every family feels informed, supported, and excited from their very first conversation with Mathnasium.
Outside of Mathnasium, Jess enjoys spending time with friends and relaxing with a good TV series.
Sunny holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Warwick and an MSc in Organisational Psychology from King's College London. Through her studies in statistics, child development, and behavioural science, she developed a strong understanding of how children learn and how positive learning environments support long-term success.
Sunny began her Mathnasium journey at the Harrow centre over three and a half years ago and now supports six centres, helping maintain exceptional educational standards, develop instructors, and deliver personalised maths education. Passionate about helping children build confidence in maths, she is committed to ensuring every student receives an engaging, supportive learning experience.
Outside of Mathnasium, Sunny enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching films, and reading a good book.
Ayaan has been part of the Mathnasium Ealing team for over two years, bringing a strong background in mathematics and a passion for helping students develop confidence in the subject. Having completed A Level Maths, he enjoys exploring logical thinking, problem-solving, and the patterns behind challenging concepts. Alongside his work at Mathnasium, Ayaan is pursuing his goal of becoming a pilot, a field where precision, focus, and analytical decision-making are essential. He combines his analytical skills with his ability to connect with students, creating a positive environment where they feel comfortable, enjoy learning, and build confidence in maths. He also reviews student progress and personalised learning plans to help ensure each learner receives the support they need.
Originally from India, Ayaan enjoys playing football, gaming, and tackling challenging problems in his spare time.
Rachel is entering her third year studying Biomedical Engineering at King’s College London, where she continues to develop strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. Having achieved A Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Psychology, she has built a strong foundation in logical thinking and applying concepts to complex problems. Rachel has been part of the Mathnasium team for over two years and is passionate about helping students understand topics they once found challenging, supporting them as they build confidence and enjoy maths. She loves seeing students recognise their own progress and develop a positive attitude towards learning.
Outside of Mathnasium, Rachel enjoys reading fiction novels and spent four years living in California.
Hana is a third-year Law student at University College London, one of the world’s leading universities, where she is developing strong analytical and critical thinking skills. She hopes to become a solicitor specialising in Intellectual Property and Corporate Law, combining her interest in problem-solving with her passion for understanding complex ideas. At Mathnasium, Hana enjoys helping students build confidence in maths by making learning engaging, approachable, and enjoyable. Alongside her studies, she volunteers through pro bono projects and has supported secondary school students, encouraging them to aim high and explore opportunities at top universities.
Outside of work and studying, Hana is a huge Formula 1 fan and never misses a race weekend.
Maida is studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE) at King’s College London, where she continues to develop her analytical thinking and explore how mathematical concepts can be applied to understanding complex ideas and decision-making. Achieving 3 A*s at A Level, Maida particularly enjoyed Statistics, appreciating how maths can be used to identify patterns, interpret information, and solve problems. At Mathnasium, she enjoys helping students build confidence in maths by breaking down concepts and encouraging them to approach challenges with curiosity. She is passionate about creating a positive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated to succeed.
Outside of Mathnasium, Maida enjoys playing badminton and going to the cinema.
Boni is a Mathematics student who has been part of the Mathnasium team for several years, bringing both strong academic knowledge and extensive experience supporting students. After achieving top grades in his A Levels, Boni continued his studies by pursuing a Mathematics degree, further developing his passion for the subject. He joined Mathnasium to understand how children learn and to help students build confidence, strengthen their skills, and enjoy their maths journey. Having worked across multiple Mathnasium centres, Boni has shared his enthusiasm for mathematics with a wide range of learners and created positive, engaging learning environments where students feel encouraged to succeed.
Outside of maths, Boni enjoys spending time with friends and exploring new interests.
Amelia is currently training to become an accountant, combining her love of numbers with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Having achieved strong results in Maths, she has always enjoyed the subject and the logical thinking it encourages. Alongside developing her accounting career, Amelia hopes to pursue teaching later in life and enjoys supporting students as they build confidence in their abilities. She brings a friendly and creative approach to learning, helping students feel encouraged and motivated.
Outside of Mathnasium, Amelia enjoys fashion, shopping, and reading, and you may even spot her featured on the Mathnasium social media pages.
Keiser is studying Education at the University of Manchester, where he is developing a deeper understanding of how students learn and the best ways to support their academic growth. Before joining Mathnasium, he gained valuable classroom experience as a teaching assistant, strengthening his passion for helping students build confidence and enjoy learning. At Mathnasium, Keiser focuses on making maths engaging, approachable, and accessible for every learner, creating a positive environment where students feel encouraged to develop their skills.
Outside of teaching, Keiser enjoys rock climbing, a hobby that reflects his determination, strategic thinking, and commitment to continuous improvement.
Mekael is a university student with a strong passion for mathematics, particularly Statistics and Probability. He enjoys exploring how mathematical concepts can be applied to different areas of life, especially through analysing patterns and outcomes in sports. Continuing his studies at university has allowed him to further develop his mathematical thinking and deepen his appreciation for the subject. At Mathnasium, Mekael enjoys helping students understand challenging concepts, build confidence, and discover the enjoyment that comes from problem-solving. He is passionate about creating a positive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore maths.
Outside of Mathnasium, Mekael plays football for his 5-a-side team and cricket on Saturdays.
Rhys is an A Level student studying Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, with aspirations to study Biochemistry at a leading university. His strong interest in science and mathematics has developed his curiosity for problem-solving and understanding how concepts connect across different subjects. Having previously tutored GCSE Maths students at school, Rhys has developed a passion for helping younger learners build confidence and enjoy mathematics. As Deputy Head Boy, he has demonstrated leadership, responsibility, and a commitment to supporting those around him.
Outside of maths, Rhys enjoys listening to music and playing video games with his friends, bringing his friendly and approachable personality to every session.
Hadi is currently studying A Levels in Economics, Business, and Maths, with aspirations to pursue an Economics and Finance degree in the future. His interest in finance and the world of money has strengthened his analytical thinking and appreciation for how mathematics can be applied to everyday decisions. Having supported Year 7 to Year 10 students with maths assistance and community service for over two years, Hadi enjoys helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and discover that maths can be both enjoyable and rewarding. He creates a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills.
Outside of academics, Hadi enjoys travelling, learning new languages, exploring different cultures, and hopes to pursue a career in investment banking.
Kaz is currently studying A Levels in Mathematics, Physics, and Economics, with aspirations to pursue a career in investment banking. Through his studies, he has developed a strong appreciation for numbers, analytical thinking, and the problem-solving skills that mathematics encourages. At Mathnasium, Kaz enjoys helping students strengthen their mathematical understanding while also learning from their curiosity and different ways of thinking. He is passionate about creating a friendly and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in maths.
Outside of academics, Kaz enjoys skateboarding and going to the gym, and is always happy to share his interests with others.
