David is the Centre Director at Mathnasium of Hammersmith. Having spent four years working at Mathnasium of Fulham and reaching the rank of Assistant Centre Director, David has made the jump to becoming Centre Manager at this brand new centre! His main focus is on ensuring our students receive the highest quality of education and that they make as much progress as possible during their time here. David has a Masters in Chemistry from Imperial College London and before this, he achieved two As in Maths and Further Maths at A-Level. David really enjoys teaching children new skills and seeing them succeed in their work. Aside from Mathnasium, you will often find David at Brentford FC cheering on the Bees or watching Ireland in the rugby.
Dan is the Centre Owner of Mathnasium of Hammersmith. Prior to opening his Mathnasium centre, Dan worked as a Chartered Surveyor with Somers STC, specialising in educational real estate, and mergers and acquisitions of educational businesses. He has a degree in Real Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University and an IMC (Investment Management Certificate) from CFA UK. Dan is hugely enthusiastic about Maths, recognising its fundamental requirement in every child's education. Shown here on the left, Dan recently received an award on behalf of the Fulham Centre for the best Great Foundations programme in the network! We wish to help as many children in the community to truly understand maths by teaching it in a way that makes sense to them. Married with 2 children, Dan is an enthusiastic cricketer and follower of sports.
My name’s Rami, I’m 20 years old and am currently the Lead Instructor at Mathnasium of Hammersmith. I’m studying Computer Science at university and would like to continue to become a software engineer after obtaining my degree. Teaching at Mathnasium has proven to be an invaluable experience, through it I’ve learnt to love the progress you see from students, as well as see them develop a fondness for Maths, one that I know was a beloved subject to me when I was younger.
Ashaaree is currently completing her undergraduate degree in Politics and International Relations at the University of Bristol but has always had an affinity with Maths, having done Maths A-level. Ashaaree enjoys volunteering in her free time - in one off opportunities or charity shops. She has a passion for helping her community including helping shape the future generation, especially in Maths, attempting to make it an enjoyable experience for all! She hopes to work in the civil service or for an NGO in the future.
Vanditha is an instructor at Mathnasium Hammersmith and is currently studying Medical Biosciences at Imperial College London. Having studied Maths at A-Level, she enjoys helping students feel more confident in Maths by breaking down tricky topics into manageable steps and celebrating every small win along the way.
Outside of Mathnasium, Vanditha enjoys exploring different parts of London, visiting cafés (especially those known for good pastries and matcha!), and going on long walks while listening to her favourite playlists. She also enjoys watching her favourite shows to unwind and challenging herself with new puzzles and brain teasers.
Hi! I'm Amarachi, a medical student at Imperial College London and an instructor at Mathnasium of Hammersmith. After taking the 11+ exam, l gained entry to James Allen's Girls' School, where I completed my GCSEs and A-levels, achieving an A* in Maths.
I believe that maths should be fun and approachable for children as this makes it feel far less intimidating as they grow older.
In my spare time, I enjoy singing with my university choir and crocheting!
Hi, I’m Tom. I went to school at Christ’s in Richmond. I’m half Australian and half English. I’ve been at Mathnasium as an instructor at since the start of the year, I’ve just finished A levels and I’m going to university to study Neuroscience in September. My favourite part of maths is problem solving and I especially enjoy algebra. I really enjoy working with children and helping them discover their love for maths and build their confidence! Outside the centre my favourite hobbies are playing basketball, listening to music and travelling. I love being part of each students learning journey and helping them improve their maths skills.
Hi! My name is Ealaf and I’m currently studying Politics, Philosophy and Law at King’s College London.
I have always enjoyed maths, having taken it at A-Level whilst studying at Godolphin and Latymer! I particularly enjoy applying maths to different contexts, and helping students come to enjoy the subject in their own way. It’s very rewarding having a student leave the centre with a sense of accomplishment.
In my free time, I enjoy being involved in politics (fun fact: having spoken in the House of Commons), volunteering and giving back to my community, as well as rowing!
Hi, my name is Emilia and I am an instructor at Mathnasium Hammersmith . I studied maths at A-Level, and I’m now studying architecture at the University of the Arts London.
One of the reasons I enjoy working at Mathnasium is being able to see all the different approaches that students take towards solving maths questions. I am happy to have the opportunity to help them develop their knowledge and understanding of the subject. Other than enjoying maths, some of my pastimes include reading and painting.
Hello! I’m Maqdis, a maths instructor here at Mathnasium Hammersmith and a biomedical science student at King’s College London. I’ve always enjoyed maths and also have a passion for helping others. Here at Mathnasium, I’m able to bring those together to help others be the best they can be. In my free time I enjoy solo travelling and exploring the different cultures in the world.
Hi, I’m Macsen. I’m a Year 13 student studying history, politics, economics and maths at A-Level with the goal of studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics at university. I enjoy teaching maths as it’s such a useful tool in life and seeing pupils gain confidence in it is a great experience. Outside of mathnasium I’m a member of my local army cadet detachment and a big Fulham fan.
Working at Mathnasium has quickly turned into a highlight of my weeks, alongside studying at UCL. The student-focused teaching and variety of personalities create an energising atmosphere. Alongside diving into esoteric maths rabbit holes online in my free time, the job has been a real source of inspiration.
