Mehdi is the Centre Director at Mathnasium of King’s Heath. Before opening his Mathnasium centre, he built a successful career spanning over 20 years as an accountant, financial manager, and business manager. He holds an MBA in Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham.
Mehdi is deeply passionate about mathematics and believes it is a fundamental part of every child’s education. He also serves as a board member for a charity that supports educational opportunities for children in need. At Mathnasium, his goal is to help as many children as possible in the community develop a true understanding of maths and gain confidence by teaching it in a way that makes sense to them.
Mehdi enjoys traveling, is an avid reader, and spends time with his family—including his son and their Labradoodle.
I’ve been dedicated to teaching in schools, colleges, and learning centres since 2002, and I’m thrilled to be part of the Mathnasium family. This community unites passionate individuals who share a love for mathematics. I believe maths is a universal language that transcends cultures, religions, and genders.
As a Centre Manager, my mission is to cultivate an environment where every child feels empowered to become a mathlete. By creating personalized learning plans and utilizing tailored materials, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of maths, sparking transformative change and a lasting love for the subject in every student.
Hi i’m Harriet and I have a passion for aviation, I am a Flight sergeant in the Royal Air Force Air Cadets and also a member of Explorer Scouts, volunteering as a Young leader for Cub Scouts. Maths has always been my favourite subject but I believe that the teacher you have changes your outlook on it and that’s why I became a tutor, to encourage problem solving and improve confidence of young people when it comes to maths. One day I hope to work for an airline in air traffic control.
Amen is currently studying 4 A levels for Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Music. He hopes to study and complete a degree in Physics at Oxford University and is currently predicted 4 A*. Amen’s love for maths has been shown in competitions such as the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge where he has achieved a Gold, demonstrating his problem solving abilities. In his spare time, Amen likes to take part in music, either singing in choirs or playing instruments such as the clarinet.

My name is Maimouna, and I am a final-year A-Level student studying Maths, Further Maths, and Computer Science at King Edward VI Camp Hill.
