Our tutors are trained to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Kieran

Centre Manager

Kieran is one of the Centre Managers at Sheen. Having recently joined Mathnasium, he’s excited

to be part of a team that helps students build confidence and a love for maths. He has a PGCE

from Oxford Brookes University and a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of

Nottingham. With his experience teaching everything from Key Stage 1 to A-level, he is passionate

about helping students become resilient, critical thinkers who feel confident

tackling challenges inside and outside the classroom. He loves making maths fun and relatable by

breaking down complex ideas into simple, real-world examples.

Outside of Mathnasium, he is passionate about environmental causes and enjoys staying active in

his local community. In his free time, you’ll find him bouldering, running, or getting creative with

art. He’s looking forward to meeting the students and families in Sheen and making maths a fun

and rewarding experience for everyone!

Shane

Instructor

Shane is a passionate mathematics enthusiast who loves exploring the beauty and logic of numbers. As a dedicated team member at Mathnasium, Shane finds great joy in helping students develop their confidence and understanding in math, whether they're tackling basic arithmetic or complex problem-solving. With a strong belief that math is for everyone, Shane brings patience, creativity, and energy to each teaching session.

Beyond the classroom, Shane has a deep love for football—both playing and following the sport—and enjoys the teamwork and strategy that comes with it. Music is another big part of Shane’s life, offering a creative outlet and a source of inspiration. He’s also fascinated by languages and the way they connect people across cultures, and he's always eager to learn new words and phrases from around the world.
