Dhruva Tangellamudi

Instructor
Dhruva was previously a medical physician and is currently an Imperial College of London Master's student in biomedical sciences with a focus in cardiovascular data science. He has loved maths since he was a child, so much so that he studied it at university receiving an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in applied mathematics from the University of Texas in Austin. After his bachelor's degree, he taught mathematics as an instructor at Karen Dillards, a preparatory school for students preparing for their SAT examinations in the US before attending medical school at Texas A&M College of Medicine. He is very excited to be able to teach maths again to young minds, because as Shakuntala Devi once said "Everything around you is mathematics!"

Yiran Liu

Instructor
Yiran is currently a first-year undergraduate at Imperial College of London, studying Mathematics. She achieved 98% in both Extended Mathematics and Additional Mathematics for her International GCSE. She has always been fascinated by the subject, and wants to show the fun side of Mathematics to more kids. Other than maths, she also enjoys reading fiction, in particular historical or science fiction.

Terry Guo

Instructor
Terry is a Masters student at the University College London studying philosophy. He graduated from Swarthmore College with a Bachelor Honours degree in Mathematics and Philosophy. In his senior year he worked as the Teaching Assistant for Mathematical Statistics Seminar and organised sessions to support underclassmen with their problem sets. After college, he worked as a tutor for high school seniors, focusing on extra-curriculum development and college application. His academic interest lies in analytical philosophy, a tradition started with the Mathematician Bertrand Russell. And like Russell, he enjoys explaining everyday concepts and breaking them into basic parts. In his free time he likes to play chess and draw. You may find him at London Knights Club playing chess tournaments!
