James holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from Durham University and later qualified as a Chartered Accountant, working at MHA MacIntyre Hudson where he specialised in audit, accounts, and corporate finance.
Having struggled with maths as a child, James recognises the importance of understanding the core principles of mathematics and the career opportunities that can follow. He is enthusiastic about helping children understand maths so they have the confidence to realise their potential.
James is a keen sportsman and enjoys watching rugby (provided England are winning!). He also enjoys battling his age in a 5-a-side football league.
Rojina holds an undergraduate degree in International Politics, where she developed strong analytical and communication skills that help her explain complex concepts clearly and effectively. She has always enjoyed maths and is passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their goals. With experience working with children, Rojina finds supporting young people on their learning journey incredibly rewarding. She believes everyone can understand and enjoy maths with the right guidance and encouragement. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, with Albania being her favourite destination, and has a keen interest in fashion.
Sunny holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Warwick and an MSc in Organisational Psychology from King’s College London. With a passion for problem-solving, child development and education, she has built valuable experience teaching students across a range of year groups. Sunny is passionate about helping children develop confidence in maths and believes every student can succeed with the right support and encouragement. She enjoys creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students can thrive. Outside of work, Sunny enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching films and reading.
Jess is a graduate of the London School of Economics, where she developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills. She began her journey with Mathnasium as Centre Manager at Mathnasium of Ealing, where she discovered a passion for helping students build confidence and achieve success in maths. A strong advocate of the Mathnasium Method, Jess now supports centres across the region to deliver outstanding learning experiences for students and families. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and relaxing by watching television.
Alaiya graduated with a First-Class degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, having developed a passion for problem-solving while studying Maths at A Level. She has worked at Mathnasium for four years, where she has built strong relationships with students and helped them develop confidence in their mathematical abilities. Her dedication to creating a positive and encouraging learning environment earned her the Centre Champion award. Outside of her studies and work, Alaiya enjoys baking and loves experimenting with new recipes in her spare time.
Alex is studying Mathematics at King’s College London, having previously taken a gap year before beginning his degree. He has a strong passion for maths and enjoys helping students discover the fun and creativity behind the subject. At Mathnasium, Alex loves supporting children as they develop confidence, overcome challenges and experience those exciting “Eureka moments” when a concept finally clicks. He is passionate about creating a positive and encouraging environment where students feel motivated to learn and achieve their goals. Outside of work, Alex enjoys hiking trails and exploring the outdoors as a former Explorer Scout.
Yash graduated from the University of Warwick with a First-Class degree in Mathematics. He has a passion for maths and enjoys helping students build confidence while discovering the fun and creativity behind the subject. At Mathnasium, Yash loves working with children, supporting them as they overcome challenges and experience those rewarding moments when a concept finally clicks. He is committed to creating a positive and encouraging environment where every student feels motivated to learn and achieve their goals. Outside of work, Yash enjoys meeting friends, going out, and exploring new places.
Leo is studying Mathematics at the University of Warwick, having previously completed A Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry at Dame Alice Owen’s School. A four-time Gold Award winner in the UK Mathematics Trust Maths Challenge, he has a genuine passion for problem-solving and helping students develop confidence in maths. Although he now studies at university, Leo enjoys returning to Mathnasium during the holidays because he loves working with the students and seeing their progress. Outside of maths, he is a dedicated Mansfield Town FC supporter.
Eli is currently studying Aerospace Engineering and enjoys tackling challenging maths problems and helping students overcome obstacles with confidence. Known for his fun and friendly approach, Eli loves making students laugh and creating a positive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and enjoying maths. He believes learning should be both engaging and rewarding, and takes pride in helping children build confidence while developing a genuine love for the subject. Outside of Mathnasium, he follows football and rugby and plays ultimate frisbee for his university team.
Nathaniel is currently studying A-levels and hopes to study Economics at a top university. He enjoys helping students build confidence in maths and believes learning should be both enjoyable and rewarding. At Mathnasium, Nathaniel loves working with children and is known for creating a fun, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves. His friendly personality and great sense of humour have quickly made him a favourite among many of the students. Outside of work, he enjoys meeting friends, going out, and keeping active.
Isabella is currently completing her A Levels at Dame Alice Owen’s School, where she is studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science. She has a genuine passion for maths and enjoys helping students build confidence by making learning engaging and rewarding. Isabella believes every child can develop a love for maths with the right encouragement and support, and she loves seeing students smile as they overcome challenges and achieve their goals. Outside of school, she plays both Gaelic football and rugby.
