Milly studied animal science and worked as a vet nurse for 2 years, but she has always loved maths and thinks that it is the foundation of all knowledge and all life. In her spare time she plays the piano, paints and reads books about maths & mathematicians through the ages. Before working at Mathnasium, Milly spent a year in South Africa caring for injured wildlife, but eventually wanted a more challenging and mentally stimulating occupation. She finds teaching children really rewarding and loves to see them developing a true understanding & enjoyment of maths.

Isobel began her Mathnasium experience as a GCSE student in the Crouch End branch. Having achieved the top grade, she went on to apply for the role of Instructor. Isobel is now a maths A level student and a regular at both Crouch End and Muswell Hill.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children maths so that they understand it, master it and love it. Maths can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make maths make sense, while also making a student smile.
