Rab is an experienced Mathnasium Multi-Centre Owner who has spent the past six years building and growing successful Mathnasium centres across London and Hertfordshire. During this time, he has been fortunate to be recognised as Mathnasium UK Franchisee of the Year on three occasions. He attributes this success to building exceptional teams and implementing consistent systems and processes that enable centres to deliver high-quality educational outcomes alongside a positive, engaging experience for every child and family.
Prior to joining Mathnasium, Rab held a number of senior analytical and finance roles, including Business Performance Manager, European Markets at HSBC and Financial Advisory at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Rab is also a Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA).
Having an analytical background, alongside a genuine passion for mathematics, Rab places significant emphasis on developing mathematical confidence and problem-solving skills. He believes these abilities are becoming increasingly important in a world where technology and job requirements continue to evolve at an unprecedented pace.
Education and preparing young people for the future is something that is particularly close to home. Rab's wife is a Consultant specialising in workforce transformation and the future of work, helping organisations understand the skills that Generation Z and Generation Alpha will need to succeed in tomorrow's careers.
Outside of work, Rab enjoys keeping fit, playing golf, and watching Arsenal (scrape) a win!
Oscar holds a BSc in Mathematical Sciences from the University of Nottingham, with a strong academic foundation in Maths and Further Maths at A Level. He has always been fascinated by the logical beauty of mathematics and the problem-solving process behind finding different solutions. Before joining Mathnasium, Oscar gained experience supporting students through volunteering initiatives in local schools and exam invigilation, developing a strong understanding of effective learning environments and student needs.
Since becoming part of the Mathnasium team, Oscar has been dedicated to providing an exceptional educational experience for students and families. His commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and student development has been recognised by the Head of Education for Mathnasium UK, who described the education delivered in Watford under his leadership as “an exceptional picture”. Oscar is passionate about helping students build confidence, curiosity, and a genuine love for maths.
Outside of Mathnasium, Oscar enjoys playing table tennis, spending time with friends, and watching movies, with The Lion King being his all-time favourite.
Sunny holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Warwick and an MSc in Organisational Psychology from King's College London. Through her studies in statistics, child development, and behavioural science, she developed a strong understanding of how children learn and how positive learning environments support long-term success.
Sunny began her Mathnasium journey at the Harrow centre over three and a half years ago and now supports six centres, helping maintain exceptional educational standards, develop instructors, and deliver personalised maths education. Passionate about helping children build confidence in maths, she is committed to ensuring every student receives an engaging, supportive learning experience.
Outside of Mathnasium, Sunny enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching films, and reading a good book.
Jess graduated with a degree in Sociology from the London School of Economics after attending Harrow International School Bangkok, where she developed a strong academic foundation and a passion for learning. She has been part of the Mathnasium team for over four years, beginning her journey as Centre Manager at Mathnasium of Ealing before progressing into her current regional role.
Drawing on her experience supporting families and leading a centre, Jess enjoys understanding each child's strengths, challenges, and goals before guiding parents through the Mathnasium Method and its personalised approach to maths education. She is passionate about helping children build confidence in maths and ensuring every family feels informed, supported, and excited from their very first conversation with Mathnasium.
Outside of Mathnasium, Jess enjoys spending time with friends and relaxing with a good TV series.
Harini is a university student studying Maths with Finance and Economics at City University London. She has been part of the Mathnasium Watford team since the centre opened, bringing years of experience teaching and supporting students of all ages. Highly regarded by students and families, Harini fosters a positive learning environment in which students feel encouraged to overcome challenges and build confidence. With a passion for problem-solving and logical thinking, she specialises in 11+ preparation, supporting students through mock exams and exam techniques.
Outside of Mathnasium, she enjoys cricket, violin, painting, and listening to music.
Amna is studying Medicine at King’s College London, having achieved A*AA in A Level Maths, Biology, and Chemistry. Her strong academic journey began with success in the 11+ and studying at Dr Challoner’s High School, where she developed her passion for learning. Amna enjoys maths because, although there is often one final answer, there are many creative approaches to reaching it. At Mathnasium, she loves seeing students overcome challenges, grow in confidence, and experience the excitement of succeeding in maths.
Outside of Mathnasium, Amna enjoys playing the violin, taking part in orchestra, listening to music, and spending time with friends.
Rhys is studying Geography and Economics at University College London, one of the world’s leading universities. Having always enjoyed mathematics, he is fascinated by the different ways a problem can be approached and how each solution can reveal a new perspective. He loves sharing this curiosity with students, helping them see maths as an enjoyable subject rather than something to be feared. At Mathnasium, Rhys is passionate about creating a positive environment where students feel encouraged to explore ideas, ask questions, and grow in confidence.
Outside of Mathnasium, he plays cricket at a high level, enjoys travelling, and exploring new cuisines with friends.
Emma is a Computer Science graduate from the University of Liverpool, where she developed a strong appreciation for logical thinking, problem-solving, and the role of mathematics in understanding complex ideas. During university, Emma led tutorials for younger students, which inspired her passion for helping learners build confidence and enjoy maths. At Mathnasium, Emma is known for her friendly and approachable nature, building strong connections with students and creating a positive environment where they feel comfortable learning. She enjoys making maths accessible and encouraging students to explore different approaches to problem-solving.
Outside of teaching, Emma enjoys knitting and crocheting her own clothes.
Yumna is a Finance student at City St George’s, having achieved strong results in both GCSE Maths and A Level Maths. Through her studies, she continues to explore the connection between mathematics, finance, and real-world problem-solving. At Mathnasium, Yumna is known for building strong connections with students and creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. She enjoys breaking down challenging concepts into simple, relatable explanations, helping students build confidence and develop a genuine enjoyment of maths.
Outside of university, Yumna enjoys baking, watching shows, and relaxing at home.
Oliver is studying A Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Economics, with aspirations to study Mathematics at the University of Warwick. Having achieved Grade 9s in both GCSE Maths and Further Maths, he has developed a strong appreciation for the problem-solving and logical thinking that make maths so rewarding. At Mathnasium, Oliver enjoys helping students overcome challenges by breaking down concepts and supporting them as they build their understanding and confidence. He finds it rewarding to see students progress and experience those moments when difficult ideas become clear.
Outside of Mathnasium, Oliver enjoys playing golf and chess.
Zishaan is studying A Levels in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry, with aspirations to pursue Chemical Engineering at a leading university. With a strong passion for mathematics and the sciences, he enjoys the challenge of problem-solving and discovering the logic behind complex ideas. At Mathnasium, Zishaan takes an engaging and supportive approach to teaching, helping students understand new concepts, build confidence, and enjoy the learning process. Having experience supporting and educating students, he is passionate about creating lessons that are both enjoyable and effective.
Outside of Mathnasium, Zishaan enjoys playing cricket and football, as well as reading books.
Abdikadir is an A Level student studying Maths, Computer Science, and Economics, having achieved top grades in both GCSE Maths and Further Maths. With aspirations to pursue a career in network engineering, he enjoys exploring the connections between logical thinking, technology, and problem-solving. At Mathnasium, Abdikadir finds the most rewarding part of tutoring is seeing students develop confidence and make progress over time. He is passionate about creating a warm and welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and enjoying their learning journey.
Outside of tutoring, Abdikadir enjoys playing games, working with computers, and watching anime.
